The Company is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the position of Executive 1, Facilities and Project Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in infrastructural (civil/finishing) projects, including the preparation of architectural drawings, quantity surveying, and other related project documentation. Qualification Requirements: Applicants must possess an MQF Level 5 qualification in Quantity Surveying, formally recognized by MQRIC.
Experience Requirements: A minimum of five (5) years of full-time, proven experience in site management related to civil / infrastructural projects and preparation of architectural drawings.

Job Description
Job Title: Executive 1 – Facilities & Project Management
Section: Facilities & Project Management Department (FPM)
Reports to: Superiors / Head within same department
Main objectives of the post:
The selected individual within the Facilities and Project Management (FPM) team will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and supervision of infrastructure projects, ensuring they align with MATS’ operational requirements. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including conducting small-scale surveys, preparing architectural drawings, managing sites, coordinating with contractors, assisting in procurement and quantity surveying, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.
This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Site works Management & Project Execution
- Coordinate and oversee construction and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the required standards.
- Act as the site focal point, coordinating with contractors working on non-ATM infrastructure and projects.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project requirements.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily infrastructure works, maintenance, and projects.
2. BOQ Preparation & Procurement Support
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), ensuring accuracy in itemised costs and material requirements.
- Compile budgetary quotes to be presented for higher approvals.
- Liaise regularly with superiors on the procurement of materials and infrastructure-related stocks.
- Conduct market research to procure goods and services at the best value for money.
3.Permitting, Compliance & Health & Safety
- Secure necessary permits and ensure all infrastructure projects have necessary clearances for consultants to comply with local regulations and safety standards.
- Provide assistance on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters as required.
- Ensure that procurement policies and procedures are followed within the FPM department.
4. Infrastructure Maintenance & Facilities Management
- Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of company facilities and infrastructure.
- Liaise with suppliers on the maintenance schedules of tangible assets.
- Monitor and manage lease agreements of various MATS sites.
- Support long-term planning for infrastructure improvements in alignment with sustainability and technological advancements.
5. Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Assist in contractor performance measurement, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure that contracts and agreements with subcontractors and third parties are fully adhered to.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
- Represent superiors in dealings with third parties when required.
6.Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities
- Assist superiors in preparing agendas, minutes of meetings (MoM), and reports.
- Maintain and organise project records and documentation for the FPM.
- Support Finance & Administration in the renewal of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and submission of required documentation.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and updates related to project progress, budgeting, and compliance
7. Audits & Quality Assurance
- Represent the FPM department during internal and third-party audits.
- Ensure that all changes and projects within the MATS system are first coordinated with the SQSC to maintain compliance with EU, SES, national, and internal policies.
8. Training & Development
- Attend training sessions both locally and overseas as required.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory changes.
9. General Duties
- Assist superiors in any other related tasks as required by the department.
- Adhere to Safety, Quality, and Security policies and procedures as required by internal, national, and international standards.
