MATS is currently accepting applications for the position of an ICT Officer within the Technical Support Services section. Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in ICT at MQF level 6 and a minimum of 180 ECTS/ECVET or equivalent. A recognised comparable qualification is only accepted subject to an MQRIC formal recognition statement being submitted with the application.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator or CCNA or LPIC-1 certification.
- A minimum of three years full time experience in the ICT industry.
- Experience in managing Microsoft Windows Server.
Experience in delivering end-user support will be considered as an asset.

Main Objective of the Post
The primary objective of this post is to assist and support the ICT Specialist in managing the ICT infrastructure. This includes monitoring the current infrastructure performance, planning for future ICT requirements, enhancing ICT knowledge, assisting in organising training, ensuring business continuity, efficiently handling daily ICT tasks, managing existing firewall systems, identifying and addressing ICT security needs in collaboration with SOC, and maintaining all office ICT equipment in optimal condition.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities associated with this post encompass the following:
- Configure, support, and maintain the ICT infrastructure.
- Install and maintain office ICT equipment and related devices.
- Identify and resolve ICT hardware and software issues.
- Provide second-level support to ICT equipment users.
- Assist the Technical Section in adopting modern ICT technology.
- Implement software solutions, including basic user training, to support internal business processes and address administration, and other corporate needs.
- Collaborate and liaising with SOC on security matters.
- Collaborate and liaising with third-party suppliers for routine matters and provide comprehensive reports, primarily in English.
- Prepare detailed reports on ICT-related tasks and activities.
- The upkeeping and maintenance of the Company ICT Asset Register and ICT-related documentation.
- Participate in relevant technical projects, training courses, and meetings both locally or abroad.
- Engage in, and carry out any other related tasks as required by the Company’s exigencies.
- Support ATM/ANS operations in line with applicable aviation requirements.
- Apply, support and adhere to the Safety, Quality, Security and Compliance policies and procedures as required by international, national and internal requirements.
- Report all safety and security occurrences. Ensure effective reporting of safety occurrences, and if necessary, participate in the investigation of such occurrences.
